Patient Information

It is not uncommon for a patient to feel anxious before any type of surgical procedure. This is normal. At Oxford OMS Centre, we understand this well and take extra care to put our patients at ease. This starts from the first phone call, to the consultation, to the surgical appointment, and to any follow-up appointments. Every step of the way, we are committed to making your surgical experience a memorable one for all the right reasons.

Consultation appointment

At your initial consultation appointment, you will be greeted by our kind and enthusiastic team. Our surgeon will speak with you about any concerns you may have, and will take measures to ensure that all your needs are met. After making a diagnosis for your individual condition, the surgeon will give you a detailed overview of all treatment options. A treatment plan may then be developed, and you will be guided through each subsequent step of the process, including any financial arrangements you may require, by our expert treatment coordinator.

Scheduling an appointment

We have simplified the appointment-making process for our patients. Most times, your family dentist or specialist will send any pertinent personal, clinical, radiographic (X-ray), and insurance information to us, and we will then reach out to you by phone and/or e-mail to schedule a consultation appointment. Other times, patients contact us directly by calling or by submitting a consultation request through our ‘Contact’ page. Either way, we make sure to get back to new patients in a timely manner so that they can get started on their surgical journey as soon as possible.

Financial information

Fees for services provided at Oxford OMS Centre adhere to the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) dental specialist fee guide, which is updated and released annually. This allows us to provide our patents with expert-level services at the fairest price. Our office accepts debit, cash, and/or all major credit cards. Payment is due on the day of the procedure.
